I’m Adam, a second year mechanical engineering student at the University of Waterloo.

I’m Adam, a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Waterloo and Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional (CSWP), now seeking a Winter 2026 co-op. I completed my first co-op (May to Aug 2025) at Ontario Drive & Gear (and ARGO) as a Quality Engineering Intern, where I developed calibration work instructions and dashboards, helped implement a torque-tools fleet plan, and supported compliance to ASME/ISO standards. Earlier, I interned at Atlantic Air Industries on ERJ145 and ATR42 aircraft, which cemented my passion for aviation. I’m time-building toward a Transport Canada Commercial Pilot Licence (Aeroplane) after earning my PPL in high school, currently flying a Diamond DA40 and a Cessna 172 out of CYKF, with prior experience flying a Cessna 172S out of Billy Bishop (CYTZ) and familiarity with Garmin G1000 and GNS. Beyond aviation, I co-designed a fully functional toy (20+ 3D-printed parts) in SOLIDWORKS, contributed to a LEGO EV3 3D-printer project, refined NACA airfoils for X-Plane with XFOIL and Airfoil Maker, and, through SHAD, modeled a GA lead-emissions filter using OpenFOAM and CFD alongside a faculty collaborator.
